This is beautiful and I just want to share that the dandelion was my mother’s favorite flower and every time I read about them, it makes me think of her. Thank you for writing and sharing this. 🥰
Thank you for sharing this with me Anne, how wonderful that it was your mother’s favorite flower! I can imagine that it brings back memories for you ❤️
I’m so taken with this. My whole career is based on something I call Dandelion Lessons. You describe this special plant metaphor beautifully. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words Kateri! How wonderful to hear that the Dandelion is also so important to you and your career, I love the way you call it, Dandelion Lessons, there is so much wisdom and magic in this little flower ✨🧡
Your words don’t just describe the dandelion, they embody it, wild and unstoppable. There is something fierce in how you reclaim what others call a weed and name it a force of hope.
This isn’t just about making wishes, it is about trust in unseen currents, in resilience, in the magic of something so delicate yet so persistent that it cracks through concrete.
You are not just writing about a flower, you are reminding us that softness is not weakness, that lightness can carry immense power, and that a single breath can send change rippling through the world.
Thank you so much Dea for your more than kind words, I am so grateful that you read my story and that you felt the unseen and the underlaying message of my words ✨🧡
I deeply believe that the world needs more softness and that we together can create a ripple of love, light, compassion and connection and that it will eventually heal the world ✨❤️
Oh Simone, the love and beauty that flow from your words are joyful, calming and deeply healing. Thank you for praising the Golden dandelion in this way. I too will make a point of blowing wishes for peace whenever I see a head os wishes waiting for my breath.
Thank you so much Josie for your kind and lovely words 🧡 I am so happy to hear that you join me in blowing our wishes, together with the help of this beautiful flower we can bring softness into the world ✨❤️
I’m so glad you wrote about this we have dandelions But come up every year organically on the 10 acres and I’ve used them for a source of food but also for what you described in your article, making a wish and blowing on each one because that part is not really edible. Love the way you presented, and now when they come up again, I will be looking at them totally differently. Enjoy your stories and your style of writing. Thank you Simone 🤗💕🙏
Thank you so much for your kind words about my stories and sharing the way you have and use dandelions Kathleen 🧡 How beautiful it must be to see them grow each year organically on your acres, that sounds so magical to me ✨🌼✨
This is why I love living in the country and elderberry is native here as well. Believe it or not so are potatoes. There's a lot of things that grow that are native to Florida. Did you know palm trees were not they were brought in from another country. I found that interesting.
What a piece of beautiful writing. Your poems always softened my heart! And it's so true that as the world becomes faster and wealthier, we lost a soft gentle touch.
